M2RE is a real estate investment firm focused on syndicating value-add multifamily properties and other real estate assets.

Our objective is to deliver high returns to our private group of investors, based on efficient management strategies, while creating better communities for our tenants, and the teams who handle their properties on a day-to-day basis.

To achieve that, we seek emerging markets, where we source only the best deal opportunities via our network of professionals.

Meet The Family

Connor & Linda Holtz

Co-Founders, Managing Partners

Meet the Holtzs! Connor was born and raised in Chicago, he is a fierce sports fan and a dog lover who has worked in several different industries. Linda grew up in France and moved to the US during her studies. She loves food, spending time with family, and is constantly looking into ways to diversify their portfolio.

Why are those details important? Because we are people. Like you. We love to work hard, as long as it is for a purpose. That purpose is to elevate the communities we invest in, while making a difference in our own lives by creating generational wealth. Why that last piece? Because we never want anyone to have control over when we spend time with our people, where we get to hang out with them, or how often we do it.

To achieve that, we uphold an unwavering dedication to excellence. We don’t just acquire properties; we draw up experiences, we create environments where people want to live, and bring their friends. Our Process: How it works

PROCESS – DEAL SOURCING

First, we look for Multifamily properties in vetted markets, with signs of significant growth potential.

UNDER WRITING

Then, we analyze the financial viability of these properties by diving deep into their income and expenses, both current and compared to what they could be "on paper".

DUE DILIGENCE

If an asset passes our "sniff test", we physically and financially verify its condition. This is one of the most important steps for us because this is where we confirm the projected returns for our investors.

ACQUISITION

We close on the property!

BUSINESS PLAN / DISTRIBUTIONS

For 3-5 years (usually), we follow the business plan agreed upon during due diligence. For investors, that means sitting back and relaxing while we manage the day-to-day operations, and they receive quarterly updates and distributions.

Exit

We either sell the property, refinance it, or buyout our partners. For them, this is the time of the biggest equity payout and return of their initial equity (which they typically re-invest in our next deal).
